HARRISONBURG, Va. — Valley residents gathered in front of Court Square on Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. to protest the lethal injection of a sniper who terrorized the Washington, D.C. metro area in October 2002. John Allen Muhammad, 48, was executed at the Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt just after 9 p.m. Tuesday. He died by lethal injection for the death of Dean H. SGA Led Push to Rezone Lot on East Campus HARRISONBURG, Va. — Residents of the Skyline area residence halls now have more places to park. Parking Services has rezoned the C17 lot near the Arboretum for residents and commuters after a month-long process initiated by the Student Government Association. Charge Upgraded To Felony For Peeper

HARRISONBURG, Va. — The charge against an alleged peeper has been upgraded to a felony because of his prior criminal activity. Police arrested Jamal A. Azeez, 34, of Harrisonburg on Oct. 24 for peeping through a door into an occupied home in the 400 block of South Mason Street. The charge was originally a misdemeanor under Virginia code 18.2-130 but is now a class 6 felony.
