Starting PG Moore shelved for Season

The JMU basketball team has been dealt a crushing loss days before it even plays its first game Thursday at No. 16 Ohio State. In a scrimmage against Hampton University on Sunday, sophomore point guard Devon Moore suffered a torn ACL. Coach Matt Brady confirmed that Moore is out for the entire season. Moore, a Colonial Athletic Association All-Rookie Team selection in 2008-09, was projected to factor heavily into the Dukes plans this season. JMU Swim and Dive Make a Splash at Pod Meet

JMU women’s swim and dive team season looks up after placing second of four through 13 events this weekend in its meet.
